Welcome aboard, I’m Keri Baugh!
I am so happy you are here!
After being bit by the travel bug on a college choir tour to Europe, I knew I had to see more of the world! I lived abroad twice, traveled to more than 25 countries, and worked as a professional Cast Member at Walt Disney World Resort and for an educational travel company, before having kids. Travel became an important part of life for my husband and me.
I wanted to continue to travel when I had kids but wasn’t sure how.
Once kids came, I knew I wanted to keep traveling as a family, to enjoy experiences together and to show our kids the world. But doing it with kids was a completely new challenge!
We decided traveling with kids was doable and worthwhile and have been doing so since my oldest was three months old. We even moved overseas to England for a year when our kids were ages 4, 1 and 1.
Now living back in New England, we travel as a family of five numerous times per year, as we believe having experiences together is the best gift we can give our children.
How can I help you?
I have been where you are. Whether you are a new parent, trying to figure out how and where to take that first trip or a family with school-aged kids trying to find space for travel with school and extracurriculars, or if you are looking for where to go and what to do there with kids (be it toddlers to teens), I’ve been there.
It can be overwhelming – heck, even scary – to take that first trip with a baby or the first trip overseas or even that first trip to Disney. If you are a seasoned traveler, finding that next place that will be meaningful and fun for a family trip can also feel challenging.
That’s where I come in. My expertise in traveling before kids, working for an educational travel company, EF Education, and for Disney (as a professional Cast Member years ago and as a planDisney panelist in 2023 and 2025), and traveling with my kids since my oldest was three months old has been put into this blog.
I love helping families figure out HOW to travel with kids (even for the first time – because it’s different than traveling as an adult); WHERE to travel with kids (because where you go with toddlers might be different than where it’s better to go with older kids or teens or where to stay that kids will love); and WHAT TO DO when you get there (fun, cool experiential and educational activities kids love and that will make lasting family memories!)
Family of five or more? We are too! I can help you figure out how to find affordable stays that fit your larger family but won’t break the bank. Because let’s face it – travel doesn’t have to be expensive to be meaningful, as long as you know how to do it.
We are also skiers, hikers, snorkelers, scuba divers, and Disney super fans, as well as world travelers. I have lived abroad three times, and my kids have been on more planes than we can count. So, when it comes to getting help for planning family travel, I aim to be a top-notch resource for you to make it easier and to help you enjoy the journey (because let’s be honest, traveling with kids isn’t perfect.)
My family travel expertise and tips have been quoted in top rated publications, such as Fodor’s Travel, Forbes, CNN, USA Today, Parents.com, Care.com, BuzzFeed, Huffington Post, Disney Parks Blog, and many more.
We are not a Full-Time travel family. But you don’t have to be to show your kids as much of the world as possible.
We take advantage of school breaks, summers, long holiday weekends and regular weekends to travel about 12-15 times a year. If you are wondering how to balance traditional school and work schedules with sports and activities AND still being able to maximize travel opportunities, you have come to the right place. That’s my specialty!
We travel as a family several times a year to a variety of family-friendly locations worldwide. We also take numerous weekend, skiing or day trips in New England many times throughout the year. And, we love road trips!
When it comes to family travel tips, you have come to the right place, and we are so glad you are here!
I hope to inspire families to enjoy the journey.
