A great way to snorkel on Maui is during an Eco Adventure snorkel trip to Molokini Crater. We loved the experience with the Pacific Whale Foundation, which leaves right from the Ma’alaea Harbor, right near the Maui Ocean Center.
Camp Maui offers a family-friendly, seven-line Maui zipline experience on its private property. It is also the site of the Pacific World War II’s training base. There is also a small mueum on site. This is one of the best family activities on Maui!
The Road to Hana is one of the most spectacular experiences to do in Maui and absolutely should be on your travel bucket list. If you are on the island for two days or more, the Road to Hana experience is a must.
Another one of my favorite things to do with kids on Maui is to go hiking in the Iao Valley. This beautiful location is located in central Maui and is ideal to experience Maui’s lush and breathtaking landscapes and Hawaii’s rich history.
All my children love the Maui Ocean Center, especially when they were young kids, so you definitely don’t want to miss it. You get to learn more about the rich culture of the very first Hawaiians and explore the ocean depths to see marine life.
Kids ages 12 and above can experience Maui via horseback on a guided tour through the West Maui mountains! It is an amazing way to see Maui’s incredible views, waterfalls, and many hidden gems.
