You'll find plenty of Steamboat ski programs for beginners and kids as well as Steamboat Springs snowboard lessons. My kids absolutely loved the Steamboat Springs ski schools. It's the perfect place for kids learning how to ski with kids-only magic carpet lifts and half and full-day ski lessons for the whole family.
You'll find bars and restaurants all around the mountain and its base. There's the Gondola Pub and Grill in Gondola Square, where you can relax after a long day skiing. If you're staying at the Steamboat Grand, you can get après-ski drinks delivered right to the pool for some family fun.
One of the things Steamboat Springs is known for is their natural, geothermal hot springs. You can enjoy two hot springs. Old Town Hot Springs and Strawberry Park Hot Springs. They are a must do, especially during the winter, to relax your muscles after all of the skiing.
